PROJECT CONCEPT
SARI NOT SORRY
A sari is a female garment that consist of a drape varying 5 to 9 yards in length. ‘Sari not Sorry’ was a project done by me and a group of friends for one of our school projects. The aim of this project was to explore the unparalleled role, a sari plays in a transgender woman’s journey and to celebrate the beauty and the femininity of a transgender women of Indian race in Singapore.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the creative director, photographer and the project leader of my group, I was responsible for interviewing the transgender women, designing an e – publication to convey our story and also making sure everyone else is performing their duties well. Being the creative director, it was very important to make sure that the e publication design is very interactive and user friendly, the layouts, the background colour, the font, the images fit perfectly with our story.
